Alfie Bones

As a Mechanical Systems Engineer, Alfie plays a key role in the end-to-end delivery of project involving complex mechanical systems, from conceptual design through to testing and quality assurance.

Alfie has strong mechanical design and test experience in the powertrain sector, working both for Mercedes HPP and Cummins. With a keen eye for detail, he has participated in the judging panel for Formula Student for the past few years. Alfie holds a Masters in Automotive Engineering from the University of Leeds. 

In his spare time, Alfie likes to dabble in motorised activities and projects, on two, four, and zero wheels. He has also recently picked up tennis, which he enjoys playing with his partner but which is still very much a work in progress.
