From concept to a superyacht golf simulator in nine months

SeaDriveCX set out to bring portable golf simulation to the deck of a superyacht. The product needed to combine a bespoke deployment mechanism, high-speed cameras, computing and an interactive touchscreen in one complete unit.

For Hooper Quinn, the task was to turn that idea into a manufactured product, bringing the mechanical systems and software together with a motorsport-inspired design.

Hooper Quinn's product development team developed SeaDriveCX from the ground up, taking responsibility for design, development, testing and manufacture over a nine-month programme.

The work brought together the bespoke deployment mechanism, a water-cooled PC, high-speed cameras and an interactive touchscreen. Mechanical systems and AI-backed software formed part of the same product, alongside its motorsport-inspired exterior.
