Hooper Quinn receives Cyber Essentials certification

Hooper Quinn is proud to announce that it has been awarded Cyber Essentials certification in recognition of its commitment to cyber security and data protection across its IT infrastructure. 

Following a company-wide audit of its systems and processes, Hooper Quinn has been awarded Cyber Essential certification by Citation Cyber (formerly Mitigate Cyber) in partnership with the IASME Consortium.

We take digital security seriously at Hooper Quinn. 

Our company recognises that cyber threats come in variety of increasingly sophisticated forms. That’s why we have been proactive in establishing layers of digital protection on multiple fronts throughout our organisation, to ensure that our clients, team, and technology remain secure in face of an ever-changing landscape of data protection. Now, having optimised our IT security strategies and protocols to the Cyber Essentials standard set by the UK’s National Cyber Security Centre, we are in a stronger position than ever to understand cyber security and defend against a range of attacks and hacks.

Shutting the door to the most common types of data attack, the Cyber Essentials programme represents the UK Government’s benchmark for basic IT security. Incorporating a set of well-established technical controls and threat response tools, it is a signal to the public and to clients that an organisation is committed to cyber security and upholds best practices in the handling of data. This nationally recognised standard is also an explicit requirement for participation in government contracts.

Hooper Quinn will continue to look to its robust security management ethos and procedural framework to bolster its defences, redouble its commitment to cyber security, and work to foster a secure digital environment into the future.
