Hooper Quinn targets ISO 9001 and Cyber Essentials certification

We are excited to announce that Hooper Quinn has begun the process of acquiring Iso 9001:2015 certification and a Cyber Essentials accreditation.

Hooper Quinn’s decision to pursue ISO 9001 accreditation speaks to our confidence in the set of methods and protocols we have been refining since early 2022, as well as our unwavering commitment to continual improvement and to elevating the experience of our clients and our team. By achieving and pushing beyond the requirements of this internationally recognised standard for quality management, we hope to signal to our clients and collaborators that Hooper Quinn is a trusted organisation that aspires to set the benchmark for operational as well as technical excellence.

In developing systems and processes which deliver with accountability, reliability, and consistency across the full spectrum of our activities, our quality management system looks to fortify the key pillars that uphold our dedication to quality. The implementation of quality improvement tools, for example, to capture, investigate and resolve issues during a project is the primary means by which a product (and a business) can be pushed to exceptional levels of performance. That’s why, across our four divisions, Hooper Quinn operates with a proprietary set of tools built from experience, which seek to mitigate against risk and which approach issues as opportunities to improve.

We’ve have been working hard in the background to develop a maximally efficient and effective quality management system which spans the full spectrum of our activities. In seeking accreditation, we now look to test our platforms against a rigorous evaluation process and company-wide audit that ISO 9001 offers.

Cyber Essentials

We take security extremely seriously. Across our operations, Hooper Quinn have sought to implement layers of protection on multiple fronts, to ensure that our clients, team, technology, and data remain secure in the face of all manner of potential interferences. With the Cyber Essentials programme from the UK’s National Cyber Security Centre, we now look to put ourselves in an even stronger position to protect against potential cyber security threats, whilst taking the opportunity to optimise our IT security strategies and protocols.

Shutting the door to the most common types of data attack, the Cyber Essentials programme represents the UK Government’s benchmark for basic IT security. Incorporating a robust set of technical controls and threat response tools, it is a signal to customers that an organisation is committed to cyber security and to handling sensitive information responsibly; it is also an explicit requirement when bidding for contracts from central government.

Cyber Security certification is only one of a number of programmes and internal procedures that Hooper Quinn is implementing to protect against online security threats and increase the integrity of its wider IT infrastructure.
